RIP JD: A Celebration of Death
is a timely exploration of cult figure and author JD Salinger. This fast paced ensemble driven comedy probes the mystery associated with the man and his art. Through homage, meditation, and mockery, this provocative collage asks who really owns art - its creator or its audience?

Featuring: Erin Austin*, John Bixler*, Lauren Connolly, Alex Kaplan, Katie McClellan, Ariana Shore, Jonathan White.*Appearing Courtesy of the Actor’s Equity Association

Recent Praise for Plastic Flamingo Theatre Company:

“This play is messy, carnal, funny, and emotionally complicated. The writing (a joint effort by Erin Austin, and the director, Ross Evans) is daring in its creativity” Heather Rodgers, nytheater.com

“A marvelous work of theatrical brio… (The play uses) humor and a surprising depth of feeling… a pleasure to watch thanks to Ross Evans' tight direction…Shore really excels…acting as a sparkplug for every moment she's on stage.”
Tom Penketh, Backstage

“...the valiant leading man played with poise and subtlety by John Bixler.”
